According to information, in Pakistan, JUI, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), has challenged the electoral process of the newly elected Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Afridi, and has declared the election of the newly elected Chief Minister illegal.

mAliworldNews: According to Pakistani media reports, JUI (F) provincial assembly member Lutful Rahman has filed a petition in Peshawar High Court regarding this matter. The petition states that Ali Amin Gandapur's resignation was not accepted, and another Chief Minister was elected; the election process of the newly elected Chief Minister Suhail Afridi is illegal and unconstitutional.

JUI (F) has requested in the petition that the election process of Suhail Afridi as Chief Minister be declared null and void.

It is worth noting that yesterday PTI candidate Muhammad Suhail Afridi was elected as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the opposition walked out of the assembly.

The session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, in which Suhail Afridi was elected by 90 members of the provincial assembly.
