Pakistani forces retaliated strongly and captured 19 Afghan posts after unprovoked firing by Afghanistan on the Pak-Afghan border.

mAliworldNews: According to Pakistani security sources, the Pakistan Army has been retaliating since late last night to the unprovoked firing by Afghanistan.

According to security sources, Pakistan has retaliated and captured 19 Afghan posts from where attacks on Pakistan were being launched.

According to security sources, several Afghan Taliban at these posts have been killed or fled. Several Afghan soldiers fled leaving behind their bodies, uniforms and weapons.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the firing from Afghanistan into Pakistani territory.

According to Pakistani media reports, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said in a statement that the firing of Afghan forces on the civilian population is a violation of international law.

He said that the Pakistani forces proved by responding immediately that provocations will not be tolerated, Pakistani forces are vigilant, Afghanistan is being answered with stones for bricks.
