Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has met with world leaders on the sidelines of the peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the Gaza ceasefire. On this occasion, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also participated in the meeting and discussion.The Prime Minister also met with King Abdullah II of Jordan and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, while the Prime Minister also met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Shahbaz Sharif also met with Indonesian President Prabowo Soekarno, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. At the same time, the Pakistani Prime Minister also met with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. In the meetings, measures for peace in the region were discussed.The Prime Minister reiterated solidarity with the Palestinian people and continued diplomatic and moral support for them.

Shahbaz Sharif met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Sharm el-Sheikh. Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also participated in the meeting and discussion. Mahmoud Abbas thanked Pakistan for its political and diplomatic support for the Palestinians. The two leaders said that the long-standing brotherly relations between Palestine and Pakistan are exemplary.Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to the people of Gaza for enduring hardships with courage and bravery. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the ceasefire in Gaza.

It should be noted that earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh. Egyptian Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhi welcomed Shehbaz Sharif at Sharm El-Sheikh Airport.
