Students stage massive protest against Israel

Students of Azim Premji University in India have strongly protested against Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The students were demanding the severance of ties between Wipro and Israel.

mAliworldNews: According to Indian media reports, students of Azim Premji University in Bangalore, the capital of the state of Karnataka, staged a strong protest against the occupying Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian people on the occasion of the "Degree Distribution Ceremony" and demanded the termination of relations between the famous multinational company "Wipro" of Azim Premji and Israel.

During the "Degree Distribution Ceremony," graduates of Azim Premji University held small banners in their hands with slogans such as "End relations between Wipro and Tel Aviv." This act was carried out as an expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people and as a protest against the genocide being carried out by the occupying Israeli army in Gaza. Azim Premji, the founder and chairman of Wipro, is also the founder of this university.

A student, speaking to reporters, said, "The Wipro company, which provides financial support to our university, is complicit in the genocide against Palestinians because it partners with Israel in several research projects. Many of these projects are being used to develop technology currently employed in the massacre of Palestinians. Israel is an illegal state and an occupying force, and any relations with it should be opposed."
